Hallmark Mastiffs

About

I love all dogs, all breeds, but my favorite since I was 15 has been the Mastiff. I have been hooked, and have had at least one pet mastiff by my side since then. I have been an avid student of the breed since I was 10.  I have belonged to the local mastiff club since 1998,  and have been involved with meet the breed activities, rescue, and finally 4 and a half years ago entered the world of dog shows.  Ruby is my first show dog, and have been very fortunate to start with a wonderful girl!  I have been also very fortunate to have great mentors in Colorado, and now across the country who have helped me get started and hopefully continue with their support!

Two years ago, when Ruby returned from life as a show dog for 4 months, she brought home with her an adorable 3 month old Dogo Argentino pup bred by Ruby’s handler, Pam Gilley. I fell head over heels in love with this breed too, they are fascinating, beautiful, and athletic, and I absolutely love taking them up to the mountains on adventures, they fit in my household and they compliment the Mastiff’s temperament.  I was invited by Pam and Barb Noe, my mentors, to join their kennel, and now I am an active part of Mata Cerdos Argentine Dogos, and look forward to seeing our newest generation in the ring early 2012

Hallmark is located just out side of Denver, within minutes of the Rocky Mountains.  We regularly walk the foot hills with our dogs, and have a great view of the front range.

My Mastiffs and Dogos are part of my family and are constantly at my side.  I have owned Mastiffs from poor breeding, and have had to deal with the heart ache of poor health and temperament, and also the joy of owning a healthy and loving Mastiff which is what I will always strive for!
